During our 22/23 Season we had 5 Musical Theater Teams, 17 Dance Teams and 30+ Soloists.
Musical Theater Teams
Each season teams of 10 to 50 performers learn a Song and Dance routine to perform at competitions.
Every team member is required to take Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Voice and Acting in addition to their team rehearsals.
Our 22/23 Season was one of our most successful having achieved highest over-all titles at every competition.
Access Broadway: Las Vegas “Best Advanced Musical Theater Studio” and “Best Directors”
Turn It Around: “Best Vocal Studio” “Best Acting Studio”. “Best Triple Threat Studio”
Musical Theater Competition of America: “2023 Middle School Studio of the Year” - At MTCA over 2,000 students and 50 schools from competed from across the county!
It goes without saying the CSS is the best triple-threat school not only in South Orange County but also across the nation! Go, Team CSS!
Dance Teams
At CSS we pride ourselves on training the whole performer. Like our MT Teams, all dance team performers are required to take a vocal and acting class in addition to their dance classes and rehearsals.
During our 22/23 Season we had Teams of all ages compete in a variety of styles including Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theater Dance,
Soloist, duets, small groups
Team performers who wish to compete as a soloist or as part of a duet or small group have that option!
These routines are taught during private lessons outside of team and class hours.
We always suggest private lessons to anyone who wants to give their talent an extra push!
